Lector

Easy and customizable reading.

Lector is not a PDF manager or a document viewer. It’s a reading-first experience. Built for long-form reading, not contracts or anything else. You can customize typography, spacing, and focus modes to make PDFs feel like books, not paperwork.

What do you think? …

Marlon Geovany

I built Lector out of frustration.

Getting books where I live is slow and limited, so I ended up reading a lot of PDFs. But PDF readers are clearly made for contracts or anything else, not for reading. Toolbars everywhere, poor typography, no sense of flow. it constantly pulls you out of the text.

I didn’t want a better file manager. I wanted something that feels like reading a book, even if the source is a PDF.

The process evolved from “let me clean this UI” to realizing the core problem was focus.

Let me know your opinions. (I am thinking to launch a mobile app, but I want to know what people think about this, before improving UI and adding gestures and anything else to the mobile app)
