Hey Hunters! 👋 I'm a Principal Engineer at Leadpages and helped build Leadmeter with my colleagues. We discovered something very interesting when looking at the conversion rates of our users. Leadpages has an extensive catalog of landing page templates that have been carefully optimized for high conversion rates. After analyzing more than 225,000 pages published on our platform, we discovered that the more changes our users made to those landing page templates, the lower their conversion rates. So we wanted to figure out a way to get our customers to "stay the course" with the templates instead of getting overly creative. Leadmeter is a solution to help our users customize their templates to best represent their brand, without straying from their ultimate goal. Utilizing a Rete-based algorithm, it analyzes a page and provides real-time guidelines, as modifications are made, to keep a user on track to creating a high converting page. We are excited to launch Leadmeter with an initial set of guidelines to provide our customers with confidence that they are following best practices while building their landing pages and we will continue to expand upon the recommendations and analysis it provides. This check takes into consideration color contrast between text color and button color as well as the size of the type and produces a contrast ratio that is considered within your Leadmeter score.
