Hello Guys, First of all, thanks Chris for the hunt ;) It’s great to be here again, this time with Land-book 2.0! We’ve been planning to reinvent the gallery for quite a while. After a few struggles on the dev side of things, we’ve finally introduced the new Land-book on Sep last year. Frankly, we couldn’t been more happy to get such a positive feedback from fellow designers, plus lots of ideas on where we can improve. Thank you all for your support! Here are the things that are brand new in Land-book 2.0: more different site inspirations - from blogs, shops and portfolios to landing pages, yup, we now have them all. easy way to find what you came for - we’ve introduced tags and categories, so you don’t have to dig too much to discover sites that you're looking for. your fav stuff in one place - each time you like or submit a site, we add them to your stuff. smooth way to add a website - finally, you don’t have to send us an email, just paste the URL and the site will appear in your stuff immediately. If it fits the gallery, we'll add it on the main page. Just like Chris mentioned, here’s the whole story behind Land-book 2.0 (please read if you have a minute or two) 👉 The Story Behind New Land-book. We’ve received lots of love and we want to keep on improving. So, if you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to let us know!
@dliberadzki i'd love to see more categories, like one for curation (producthunt etc all), online education and learning, and so on - but sure how unwieldy that makes things
@passingnotes Thanks for the feedback. We will improve searching and filtering features for sure. First, we want to deliver filtering by color ;)
Here's the backstory of the process leading from 1.0 to 2.0. Love some of the more subtle interactions:
One of the sites I check everyday :)
@britzsquad Happy to hear that! Is there anything that you're missing or you think that can be done better?
Congrats guys ;) The new version is amazing.
Thanks @tomaspeniasko! If you have any feedback let me know!
Oh wow, this looks great! I remember the original Land Book from a few years ago. I was just wondering what happened to it the other day, haha. This looks like an awesome resource.
@cmwinters Thank you! We do our best. Let us know if there's anything that we can improve ;)
