Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Brad, the Co-Founder and CEO of Kruiz, alongside my Co-Founder Angela — and this one’s personal. A few years ago, we tried to fly with our dog Bodhi. Hours of research, conflicting airline rules, and a last-minute regulation change left us stranded — and cost us $3,000. That experience, and the total lack of clarity behind it, inspired us to build Kruiz — the AI-powered pet travel app that makes it simple to travel with your pets. 🧠 Core Features: 👉 Kruizy — Your AI Pet Travel Assistant Ask anything about pet travel — any airline, route, or country — and Kruizy gives fast, accurate answers 24/7. 👉 Pet-First Hotel Booking (CA Only) Find verified pet-friendly hotels you can trust. Every listing is checked for real pet accommodations before you book. 👉 Smart Pet Profiles Add your pet’s health records, vaccine info, and microchip once — and reuse it for every trip. No more forms or missing files. Kruiz is for anyone traveling with their pets — whether you’re flying, driving, or relocating. We built this so pet parents can finally skip the chaos of airline websites, PDFs, and Reddit threads — and travel with confidence. ⚙️ Our journey: It’s been the most rewarding (and most challenging) thing I’ve ever built. We rebuilt the entire app from scratch in two months with a small but unstoppable team. Every late night led to this moment - and we’re proud to finally share it with you. 💬 We’d love your feedback: We’re here to learn, listen, and improve. Please let us know what features you’d love to see next or where the experience could be improved. 📱 Download now: iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kr... Android: https://play.google.com/store/ap... Thanks for checking us out. This community has been a huge inspiration - can’t wait to hear what you think. ❤️ #pettravel #ai #startups #producthuntlaunch

Wow Brad, this really hit home. Anyone who’s ever tried flying with a pet knows how stressful and confusing it gets, so it’s cool to see someone turn their own bad experience into something that actually helps people. And rebuilding the whole app in two months?? That’s wild. What part of getting all the pet travel rules accurate was the toughest for you guys

Brad Pauer

@olajiggy321 Thank you - yes, rebuilding an entire app in two months was intense, but the only thing that kept us going was the vision and the non-negotiable standard of what we wanted the experience to feel like… and what we refused to settle for.

The hardest part by far was untangling all the different import/export rules when traveling to and from various countries in Europe and back to the U.S. And honestly? Even more chaotic are the hotel pet policies — that information is scattered everywhere, outdated, and most times non-existent. But now, with our system and model infrastructure, it’s finally seamless.

Wow, that makes a lot of sense. The global rules + hotel inconsistencies must’ve been a nightmare to unify. The fact that you’ve made it seamless on the user side says a lot about the level of work you and your team put in.

Honestly, Kruiz feels like one of those products that solves a real, painful problem people just accept as ‘normal’. Excited to see where you take it next — especially as you expand beyond CA for hotels.

@brad_pauer As someone who’s stayed up at 1am reading airline pet rules and random Reddit threads, this really hits home.

Having all my pet’s info in one place sounds like it would remove so much stress from flying with my dog.

Haven’t used it for a real trip yet, but I’m 100% trying this next time I fly with my pup. Big congrats on the launch! Hope this helps a ton of pet parents avoid what you went through.

This is a great idea that Brad has built.

After many hours of R&D, this is a niche where animal owners/lovers can take advantage of. I don’t currently have a pet, but travel frequently and love seeing a flyer with their companion. Brings smiles all around.

Brad Pauer

@noel_prasad Absolutely. When you’re traveling - especially through airports - nothing softens the chaos like the cuddly face of a dog or cat. It instantly puts people at ease. And for the owner, having their best friend right next to them isn’t just cute… it’s grounding. It turns a stressful journey into something that feels like home is traveling with you.
