Using tech, access to any knowledge has become easier for everyone. Unfortunately, due to this it has the greatest impact on the health industry.
People who have access to information have become mini-experts in that field, counseling friends and family members who have medical issues without the supervision of a doctor. Taking medication without the supervision of a doctor increases the chance of side effects, including death.
**Solution:**
What if the user is provided access to information from a reputable source in order to educate themselves, such as hospitals and U.S FDA.
If you're told to take "Benadryl," for example, verify with a reliable source to see if there's a significant risk of side effects, precautions, dosage, and so on. This is where Know My Meds is trying to solve it.
