Kit Work

Hi everyone! 👋 I want to share Kitwork, a lightweight and flexible workflow engine that is still in active development. This project comes from years of experience building frameworks for my own projects and represents my vision of a simple, self-hosted platform for indie hackers and small teams. Kitwork is designed to make automating tasks, managing secrets, scheduling jobs, and orchestrating pipelines fast, modular, and easy to deploy. You can clone the repo, run the executable, and start experimenting immediately. I want Kitwork to become a platform for self-hosted serverless functions, low-code or no-code backends, and eventually a simple microservice stack. Right now it is version 1 with basic tasks and routing, but I am actively working on live file watching, JS execution inside workflows, template improvements, and direct database queries. Even though it is early, I would love to shape Kitwork together with real users. Try it, give feedback, and tell me what features matter most to you. This is more than open-source code, it is a long-term vision and a shared journey.
