Hey hunters 👋 Kindness Engine(Beta) is a small tool that lets websites show short, kind messages to visitors—simple things like “Glad you’re here 💛” or “Nice scrolling 👌”. It’s added with a single script tag and works on any website. No analytics. No tracking. No cookies. Just a small moment of kindness. I work as an IT professional, and I build small apps as a hobby. While browsing the web, I noticed that most websites feel very transactional—buttons, forms, popups, and calls to action everywhere. I kept thinking: What if a website didn’t try to sell or convert for a moment… and just said something nice? That’s where Kindness Engine came from. How it works: Add your website domain Write a few kind messages and choose an emoji Copy one small script and paste it into your site It’s not a popup. It’s not a notification. Just a gentle message that appears briefly and fades away. The web can sometimes feel cold and mechanical. Kindness Engine helps make websites feel a little more human, create small positive moments for visitors, and add warmth without interrupting or distracting. It doesn’t demand attention. It doesn’t track users. And if it can’t run for any reason, it quietly does nothing. I’d really love your feedback—what do you think? 💛

@amarnath_19 Hi Amarnath, congrats on the launch. I really love this concept, I read "unreasonable hospitality" recently and this is so in linw with that thinking of creating an experience for users. is there a way to link to llm and rag to generate comments so that it isn't formulaic?

Amarnath

@zolani_matebese Thank you so much — I really appreciate that comparison.
I did think about AI-generated messages early on, but I intentionally kept Kindness Engine simple and human. I wanted the messages to feel chosen, not generated — and to avoid adding tracking, personalization, or complexity.

For now, the goal is quiet, intentional kindness rather than infinite variation. But it’s an interesting idea, maybe we can integrate those, personalized for the user website and I appreciate you sharing the perspective.

Congrats on the launch — KindnessEngine is a lovely reminder that tiny, trackless moments of positivity can meaningfully soften the web.

@zeiki_yu Thank you!
That’s exactly the feeling I hoped to create—something small, quiet, and positive. Really appreciate the kind words.
