Req: Some businessmen were concerned with their accounting data especially sales and purchases being stored on online servers of accounting apps. They wanted full control over their accounting data and wanted a basic accounting app. Solution: We built our app over this primary privacy concern and our app stores user's accounting data on their own Google Drive and that too in an encrypted format! Also, each user has a unique encryption, so no two users can use each other files. User can register using any of their Google/Gmail account. App offers an optional 2nd step authentication where user can enter their secret 4 digit PIN to access the app. This PIN is also stored on user's Google Drive in a secured way, not with us. What we store on our servers? We store only the basic profile of the user, their subscription status, commission information for payouts and error logging (if any). This app provides basic accounting services where user can create sales/purchase entries and create receipts and misc entries, download and email PDF for such. Our backups are encrypted as well where user can backup on their own Google Drive and download those backups to their choice of storage device. Backups are stored Financial Year wise and data can be restored to the last point of backup. Using this app, user have full control over their accounting data.
