Hi @malkielfalcone, this is an excellent question! Keyport is ISO 27001 compliant. Our baremetal machines are located in secure datacenters with ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018, and 27701 certifications, as well as SOC1/2/3 and CSA STAR certifications. Data is encrypted in at rest, in transit, and on the device using multiple layers of encryption. We also have a dedicated SOC that monitors our systems 24/7. Keyport actually uses the latest in encryption technology too - XChaCha20-Poly1305-IETF. Thanks to some clever engineering, the only time your passwords actually appear in plaintext anywhere is when they're on your clipboard 🙂 We'll get the website updated with a dedicated section on security to make this clearer. After all, that's one of the first questions users have when they plan to entrust you with storing passwords. Good luck in developing the project!

Security is our highest priority, so we've made sure to include plenty of imformation about how we take that responsibility seriously. Keyport is already compliant with over 6 different major compliance frameworks, and that number will only continue to grow. We're engaging security partners as development progresses to ensure that our code is peer-reviewed, and our infrastructure is secure. When Keyport nears completion, we will be participating with third-party auditors to certify Keyport's security, including IRAP (https://www.cyber.gov.au/acsc/vi...), ISO/IEC, and multiple dedicated penetration testing partners. This will all happen before Keyport is made available to the public, so that we can share our complete confidence with our customers prior to accepting any sensitive information.
