Hi guys/girls! This is a little spin off from GoFuckingDoIt specially dedicated to this new year. This app lets people set resolutions like losing weight, quitting smoking, eating healthier, getting out of debt or traveling to new places and adds accountability to it. You set a price, and it after your deadline it'll check if you actually kept your resolution. If you haven't your credit card is charged as a punishment. Over 83% of people on the original version of GoFuckingDoIt managed to reach their goals, so the effectiveness is proven. Now I'd like to see if it works just as well for keeping your resolutions in 2016.

@levelsio Would be cool to read about the success stories. Have you considered reaching out to people who were successful using GFDI ? Also curious to hear your own resolutions and whether you're using KYFR to keep yourself accountable.

@marckohlbrugge @levelsio I've had lots of emails back and forth with people who used it. I remember one person dropped out of college to launch their app as they had set it on GFDI, haha. Another person wanted to "tidy up their life" and quit their current job and switched careers. So in that sense, it does seem to have a beneficial effect. Partly the accountability of paying money if you fail, partly just setting your goal in stone.

@levelsio Cool. Why not have someone on your team interview these people and write up some articles or do short podcast interviews. Great content marketing opportunity here.

@levelsio Very nice execution! Question; where does the money go if I don't keep my resolution? Does it simply go to your site?

@levelsio I am always impressed with the front end of your projects. 😎

Same concept as https://www.stickk.com/. But Stickk lets you donate to an "anti-charity" (eg. the NRA) - the moral guilt adds a whole new motivational layer. Or you can also forward the money to a real charity or your referee. May not be as pretty but has more features and support.

Thats a very nice idea and execution, but the site is very very laggy on safari because of the gif background!

@tnsrig Sorry, just fixed the lag. Safari doesn't like WebKit blur's :)

This is a great idea but this page lags horribly.
