Kanodo

Native kanban, unblocked for macOS

Kanban for Mac, rebuilt from scratch. Cards open in their own windows, not modals, so you can compare tasks side by side without losing context. Mini-boards let you nest subtasks inside any card. Workspaces keep projects separate. Dashboards show deadlines and progress at a glance. Built natively with Swift. Fast, offline-capable, no account needed. Your data never leaves your Mac unless you want it to.

CodelDev

Hey everyone, I'm Clive, an indie developer from the UK running CodelDev. I built Kanodo because I couldn't find a kanban app that worked the way I needed. Every tool I tried had the same frustrations: cards trapped in modals, Electron wrappers pretending to be native apps, and subscription pricing for features I'd never use. I just wanted a proper kanban board that felt at home on macOS. So I built one - with a difference: Cards open in their own windows, and each card can have its own mini-board for breaking down complex tasks. Workspaces keep different areas of your life separate, and dashboards give you an overview without opening every board. It's one of four apps I've built after leaving my day job last year. If you're a freelancer, developer, or anyone who's tired of bloated tools trying to be everything at once, this might be what you're looking for. Happy to answer any questions. I'm around all day. And if you try it, I'd genuinely love to hear what you think. Still actively developing it and feedback shapes what comes next.
