Hi everyone! I'm kind of new to the tech community. For a while now, I've been thinking about the incentives behind how we communicate online and I want to share what I've made. Our ideas are valuable. Valuable enough that companies can print money by monetizing user-generated content—often without compensating users. I don’t think that’s fair. I think we need to reward people for their contributions and that we need to do it without pushing ourselves to trade authenticity for engagement. I think there's real value in disincentivizing the kind of clickbait that's all too common today. Moving beyond popularity, I think it would be interesting to create a space for highlighting ideas and content that are objectively valuable to your audience. So I learned a bit about programming and design to translate those thoughts into something real. I kept it simple and created a message board with a twist. What do you think? Tips: - You don't need an account to post or get paid - ...But if you sign up, you can snag a vanity username - Toggle the theme by clicking the arrow icon - Cross-post content that you share elsewhere - Share something interesting about where you're from Thanks for stopping by! I'm happy to answer any questions :)
