Hi everyone! 👋 I’m the creator of Jombo, and I’m so excited to share it with you all today. What inspired the build? Living in Finland, I noticed that while we have a great transport system, traveling between cities or commuting can still be incredibly expensive and often lonely. I wanted to create a solution that feels like a community rather than a transaction. What problem are we solving? The "cost of living" crisis is real, and transportation is a huge chunk of that. I built Jombo to be 100% free with zero commissions to ensure that every cent saved on gas or a seat stays in the pockets of the users. Beyond the savings, we are tackling the environmental impact of half-empty cars on our roads. How did the approach evolve? Initially, I thought about a complex payment system, but I realized that simplicity is key for the Finnish market. I stripped everything back to focus on a "pure" carpooling experience—no hidden fees, just people helping people get from point A to point B. I’d love to hear your feedback and answer any questions.
