Hi Product Hunt! My friends Joe, Luba and I have built https://jobsearch.dev, a course that will set you up with all the tools you need to land your dream offer. And, it's 100% free :) The Background: Joe and I recently completed an intense 100 day, job search. We spoke each day and compared lessons learned. By the end of it, we realized, though there's a *lot* out there online, some of the most critical lessons, that made the biggest difference for us, just wasn't out there. Things like communicating signal & scope, to get the right level for you. Or ideas on how you should actually approach the search -- most people dread it, what if you didn't? Most people go at it alone, what if you built a team? Hence, we built https://jobsearch.dev, a video course that takes you on this journey, and equips you with all the tools you need to land your dream job. Initially, we were going to charge for this course. After a long amount of discussion though, we decided to give it to the community for free. We hope this helps you on your journey, and we can't wait to hear the success stories. Give it a try, and let us know what you think! :)
Many of the modules in the course give homework, which I've found very useful in guiding how to prepare for software engineering interviews. Also glad the course has content for frontend engineers, since there seems to be less content out there that is specific to frontend.
@hokustalkshow Thank you for the kind words Hoku. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for great way to help with job search! I finished my first video and almost 2 days thinking about homework - very good question, which i asked myself. This question motivated me to re-think my way to search a new job. I completely remastered my resume, and trying again. And this is just from 1 video)). So far so good! Thank you guys!
Amazing to hear, thank you @kubantai :)
Helpful content in the videos and suggestions for learning about system design. I haven't came across the system design resources before so thanks for mentioning these! Them mentioning Blind and interviewing.io is awesome because these are other helpful resources.
Cheers @sf415! Glad you found it helpful :)

I've watched the videos quickly - 2 days before an interview - and applied as few of the tips in this course. It went fantastic. I already knew the company wanted me - they were the ones reaching out - so I dared set my own "prerequisites" before getting into specifics. We're now moving to the next phase! I am now going through the modules systematically, and I'll finish the course even if I land an offer or two before. As a self-taught developer, I've had confidence issues many times when applying for jobs - or even just reading the job ads. I think the best way to deal with them is preparation and this course gives me the tools to do just that.

Pros:

Great tips & advice for devs at any level. Frontend section!! Easy to follow, engaging presentation. Homework!

Cons:

None that I can think of

Anca, thrilled to hear you story. Hearing stuff like this makes it all worth it! Thank you :)
