This is a good idea. I'm not really looking to work in this space but I think this idea should do well. I'd be interested in hearing from people who support themselves exclusively doing freelance/on demand work. Do they like it? Do they make more money than they thought they would?

I've heard plenty from friends in the bar/restaurant industry about the difficulties of staffing due to spikes in business, people calling out sick, and a # of other reasons. This seems like a great way to keep up with those unexpected scenarios
