JAT was inspired by watching creators, event organizers, and brands all struggle in the same broken system. Creators were building audiences but couldn’t reliably make money unless a brand chose them. Event organizers were selling tickets, but everything ended the moment the event ended. Brands were spending heavily on influencer marketing with unclear results and high coordination costs. At the same time, social platforms were getting attention-rich but value poor, lots of views, likes, and followers, but very little sustainable income for the people actually creating the value. We saw a gap: plenty of engagement, but no real infrastructure for monetization.
