iSpeedRead is a focused speed reading app for books, PDFs, EPUBs, and text files.
Instead of scanning lines across a page, iSpeedRead shows text one word at a time so your eyes can stay fixed while the words move. Choose your speed, pick a comfortable reading theme, adjust font size and weight, and jump back into the full text whenever you need context.

honestly the one word at a time flow is great but it would be cool if you could sync progress across devices, like pick up where i left off on my phone after reading on my laptop without losing my spot

The word-by-word setup looks clean, but it would be a game changer if you added a way to highlight or save tricky words and phrases while reading, then export them as a quick flashcard deck for review later.

Would love a way to save progress per file, so when I switch between books the app remembers exactly where I left off. Maybe even sync that across devices if possible, since I jump between my phone and laptop.

The focus dimming when you look away from the center word is a really thoughtful touch, makes the peripheral text fade naturally so your eyes lock onto what matters. Clean execution on something most speed readers would have overlooked.

The focus and animation controls feel really thoughtfully tuned, especially how smoothly the words transition without losing my place. Nice execution on something that could have easily felt jarring.

the way you let people tweak the focus point and animation while reading is honestly such a thoughtful touch, like it actually respects how differently everyone's eyes track text. clean execution overall.
