I personally don't get too worried about the government spying on me (maybe I should) and this product looks elegant so maybe I will. Have you tested this on the new 2016 Macbook Pro's? That lip is almost non-existent and you wouldn't want to scratch the body. Good luck, it looks like you have blown your funding target! 👍🤑🚀

@dylankbuckley actually you're all good for the new Macbooks pros with TB. The webcam is wired into the secure enclave so it should be well protected :)

@scotty_mcq They also just state that, but don't provide a source. 🤔 In the next sentence they quote a security expert how this method in general could increase the security. They don't quote him on that this has actually been done with the 2016 MBPs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to discredit you by all means...just trying to find a reliable source myself 👍

I'm that person that understands that remote activation of webcams is possible (and currently being done) but could never bring myself to put that ridiculous looking post-it note over it. Definitely willing to give this a try and see helps protect privacy without ruining aesthetics.

Q: Could this be done by a software extension? Yes I am that unsophisticated. :p I'd like to be able to Set my Cam Screen image, maybe rotate them, choose from different images based on my mood. I do 6-12 screen conferences a week and I hate that when my cam is turned on by a conference app I am staring at my pic. I imagine it's worse for others :)

Scam - you would do well to steer clear of this.

The creator took the backers money on KS and IGG and never delivered. When chased, became hostile and abusive.
