Do you ever go out and put a whole tab on your card? Then, take a picture of it and have to calculate what everyone owes you the day after? I personally have and I made this app to make the process much smoother.

Hey community! Recently, I have been going out with friends, and since I live in Boston, splitting a bill is difficult with multiple cards. Thus, I usually end up putting my card down (for points) and I calculate what everyone owes me the next day. However, I get annoyed of having to calculate the tax, tip, total, etc. for everyone. That is where IOU comes in. This app allows you to scan a receipt, add the members of your party, then choose the items of each person individually, and boom the total is calculated! Tax and tip included! Let me know what you guys think!

Congrats on the launch! You solved for such an annoying problem 🙌 How does it work for other regions - for instance recognising the Rupee symbol and we don't have tipping culture there's just a service tax - does the custom tip feature allow you to input 0?

@rucha_joshi8 Thanks! The custom tip feature does allow for a 0% input, but in the next update I will localize the currencies. It doesn't recognize the currency symbol for it to work since some receipts simply forgo the "$" or any type of currency. The "$" is only for styling purposes when the receipt has been scanned
