I’ve been working on my health tech startup since January 2024 and was in the “just lock in” phase until March 2025. I realized there was just too much work to do myself and needed a team. I didn’t have a lot of money so I obviously needed to hire from India, etc to build a team that’s full time and can help me do the work. It took forever to hire someone as I had over 1200 applicants within 1 day of posting 2 jobs for a total of 3 positions. I had to manually read through resumes (after the first 50 I basically just looked at their job experience and English level), type and send out each email to each candidate individually, track the status in my notes app, etc. After this very grueling experience (and talking to healthcare stakeholders to make sure they would also use it alongside the software I was already making) I built an AI powered recruitment platform that auto scores and ranks applicants based on their qualifications for the job (based on their resume, profile on the platform, answers to questions in the application, LinkedIn profile, supporting documents, etc). It also handles auto notification to candidates about their status and creating offers. This has been a big help to me because now I don’t have to waste time scrolling through LinkedIn and looking to see if applicants have the required skills. When I see a candidate with a high score, I can view a summary / analysis of their application or have them auto invited to schedule an interview with me. A lot of small businesses have also expressed these same pain points. For all the founders who may see this post and are hiring, we do have founder pricing. I understand the struggle and if you're bootstrapped / had no VC funding like me a solution like this could really help.
