So what's open-source? Basically, it is a system through which the most popular software is accessible to each and every person in the world of tech to make changes, fix issues, create new features and develop the quality of that software which ultimately contributes to a greater good in the world. As a student of tech, it was a long time craving for me to contribute to software such as Blender, Chromium, and many more. However, there has been just one problem. I just didn't know how to code. In fact, I wasn't really that interested in coding, and so even though I tried a lot of times, all my efforts were in vain. However, the idea of contributing to creating technology was still intriguing to me, so I started looking at different avenues which ultimately led to me finding design. And so, in these last couple of months, after designing, creating side projects, and reading books, I once again started to look for an opportunity in open source. During my search in open source design, I came across a project which required creating musical instrument icons for open-source music software that is primarily focused on musicians. And so I thought, why not do it!! Why not make the icons accessible to everyone. To every music software out there, which ultimately will help musicians spread their magic throughout the world. After all. Music is a source of peace to the soul. And so, here I present guys, my first open-source project: - "Instrument&Icons" to you all. Also, one fun fact - It is customizable completely. So you can tinker around it, make changes to it and use it while creating your very own software.
