What do you think? …

I love how NFTs can really make moments unique and special. I can't wait to see what the world does with them :)
Julian Mackler
Got an error message when trying to connect IG
Nicholas Moschopoulos
@julianmackler Oh no -- could you email me a screenshot @ hello@instamint.xyz?
Nicholas Moschopoulos
@julianmackler Fixing, thank you for letting me know!
Nicholas Moschopoulos

How do you ensure the content of the Instagram post is original to prevent stolen content being minted?
Kevin Østerkilde
@bindermichi They can't.
Nicholas Moschopoulos
@bindermichi 1. We require users to login with their instagram account and only allow them to mint NFTs of posts they created. If someone has a hacked a user's account, we will do everything we can to manually prevent any posts from being minted / profited on. 2. Each instagram post can only be minted once by the owner of the IG post. Once minted, it can never be minted again.
Mirco Wilhelm
@nicholasmoschopoulos I can create posts on my account and still use content that is not mine. This doesn't solve the issue.

When I try to mint something it states: Please switch to use the ethereum mainnet network
Nicholas Moschopoulos
@paisano Are you using ethereum mainnet? :) You can switch on metamask: https://help.idex.io/en/articles.... We are going to be making some improvements to this all soon too :)

$30 gas tax when other platforms are a few cents? Also if you already have an OpenSea account there doens't seem like a way to connect the accounts
Nicholas Moschopoulos
@jaredzimmerman unfortunately, we don't control the gas that is charged. We are looking into ways to lower the fees where possible, hopefully we'll be able to release added functionality for that very soon :)
Madhu Ganesh
This would make the experience so seamless, awesome!
Nicholas Moschopoulos
<3 thank you @madhu_ganesh !
