I'd love to hear more about the way teens are using Instagram. I feel like I use it "wrong" because I follow professional photographers. I know teens are using it as a way to communicate/send notes and I'd love to see some examples. Also, when do you use Instagram vs. Snapchat?

From my experience, Instagram is still the most popular social network on college campuses next to Snapchat and, yes, Facebook. I use it everyday and enjoy doing so.

@zkahn94 how often do you use Instagram? Personally (and I'm 27), I take only a few photos a week and rarely browse the feed. I use it to (1) store memories in a beautiful picture and (2) add photos to Facebook (I rarely add photos directly within the Facebook app).

@rrhoover I don’t use Instagram with friends, but many, many other kids do. It’s about 95% selfies/group selfies, the rest is pets and food and other crap. It’s incredibly popular.

@rrhoover A few times a day, and more so on the weekdays than weekends. I take about a photo every week+ that I think captures a rare moment and browse my feed in the morning (wake-up), afternoon (lunch), and night (random). I currently follow just under 340 accounts (⅓ #braaaaands, ⅔ people I know), which gives me a good amount of content to consume per day.
