I imagine thesis a market for browther expansion that will transform regular news websites with sketch design filters:) great design!
Greg Z
@oleksiy_malytskyy Why not! ;) But the major case (so far) is to prepare illustrations for presentations, articles and social media before publishing or presenting. Just to make them captivating and eye-catching. If you are familiar with classic diagrams created with draw.io or lucid charts you probably notice they look kinda boring and old-fashined (like done in 90s). Thanks for the proposal.
Oleksiy Malytskyy
@gregz totally agree that is great use case!

Hi Everybody, I am Greg, the creator of the INSTAD.IO. I'm so much excited to announce a new project - a revolutionary image restyler that allows you to automatically convert any visuals such as a chart, map, icon, diagram or illustration into a sketchy / hand-drawn look. Now you can turn your ordinary flow-charts and diagrams into captivating illustrations for articles, presentations, or social media posts. You can generate an unlimited variety of icons for your website. You can enhance your infographics and visuals so they will look eye-catching. And everything is possible in a couple of mouse clicks. The current version includes the following features: * Ready-to-use presets * Dozen of controls to tweak the look of the resulting image including re-coloring, re-shaping, changing the style of strokes and fillings * Import from SVG, PDF, and EPS * Export to SVG, high-resolution PNG, animated GIF, and Mpeg4 * Monochrome raster image tracing to vector * Simple animation Here you can find more examples of the restyled images https://instad.io/ Try out the service at https://go.instad.io/ Thank you for checking out the INSTAD.IO. I always appreciate any feedback and would be happy to hear your thoughts.

Cool as hell - congratulations on the launch, @gregz 🚀 (and yes, I agree with @zoe3 - logo is cute af)
Greg Z
@bertie Thanks, Bertie! The founder of the service is on the logo ;))

Loving it: I'm guessing it only works for vector graphics and not bitmaps?
Greg Z
@mohamed_habib1 Thanks for the question. So far it can load images from SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics), PDF and EPS. But it has an experimental mode to trace bitmap images from PNG and JPG (good for icon scanning/tracing into vector). So I would say it can support bitmaps from PNG and JPG but with limited functionality (e.g. it traces and converts raster images into a monochrome palette). But you can try to get some mid-size monochrome PNG or JPG from google search, drop it onto the service and get vector version of it. Then download as SVG vector image or high-resolution PNG image.
