InnovateAI

Turn any CNC machine into a smart, self-operating system

InnovateAI is an AI powered system that takes your CAD design, selects the right tool, plans the most efficient toolpath, generates optimized G code, and sends commands directly to your CNC machine. We also place a camera inside the CNC machine and use our AI to validate the setup and catch mistakes before they damage the part or the machine. We are now building and testing our prototype on real parts and we are talking with CNC shops to get real feedback.

Hi everyone, I’m Amir Vahebi, founder of InnovateAI. Thanks for checking out our launch. CNC machines today still depend on manual programming and long setup processes. These steps are slow, repetitive, and heavily dependent on the operator’s skill. Mistakes during setup or coding can lead to scrap parts, crashes, and lost production time. From what we’ve seen, most of these problems come from two places: setup mistakes and programming errors. Together they make CNC work slower, riskier, and more expensive. Canada is also facing a major skilled labor shortage, which makes the situation even harder for manufacturers. We are building InnovateAI to change this. Our software turns CNC machines into smart, self-operating systems. You upload a design and the AI analyzes the geometry, selects the correct tools, plans the most efficient toolpath, and generates optimized G code with no manual programming. To make this possible, we place an edge computer next to the CNC machine and connect it directly to the controller. It communicates with the machine and sends commands locally, making everything fast and reliable. We also mount a camera inside the CNC machine. The AI watches the setup in real time, checks the tool, detects mistakes, and tells the operator exactly what to fix. This reduces human setup errors, which are responsible for most CNC failures. What makes us unique is that we focus on upgrading the CNC machines manufacturers already have. Instead of requiring new hardware or modern machines, we bring intelligent automation to the existing equipment on the shop floor. Our goal is to help factories make their CNC machines think, plan, and run jobs automatically. Right now we’re building the prototype and testing toolpath automation on simple parts. We’re also part of Innovation Factory’s Catalyst program, YSpace’s Catalyst program, and YEDI’s Innovation Bridge program. We would love your feedback, questions, or suggestions. Thanks again for supporting our launch. I’ll be here all day answering everything.
