Hey Product Hunt!! I’m a solo founder, and I built IncidentScribe after repeatedly running into the same frustrating problem: writing postmortems meant re-reading long Slack incident channels and manually rebuilding timelines in Notion. During incidents, everything already happens in Slack - updates, decisions, mitigations - but after the incident is over, someone still has to do all the cleanup work. There are tools that tackle similar problems, but most of them are enterprise-focused: heavy processes, complex setups, expensive pricing, AI features that aren’t really needed, and often no free tier at all. IncidentScribe takes a different approach. It captures a structured timeline, decisions, owners, and action items while the incident is happening, then publishes a clean Notion postmortem in one click (with optional PDF export). The goal was to keep it lightweight, self-serve, and accessible for small and growing teams: no enterprise overhead, no unnecessary AI, and a free tier to get started. I’d really love your feedback: - How do you write postmortems today? - What feels overkill or missing in existing incident tools? Happy to answer any questions and thanks for checking it out!!
