Interesting, but do you still think that overcrowding the inbox is better? Shouldnt you be decluttering the inbox and move away to something that is more pleasant and easy to manage? ?makers

@balaji_rao1 Nothing is sent unless the user wants to send it - just like sending yourself an email - you're fully in control to overcrowd it or not.

Hello PH community 👋 So InboxThis was made because I always save stuff I find on the web - especially articles to read later. In the past, I tried different ways to save them (browser bookmarks, Pocket app, etc.). Just like the simplest solutions are often the best, I ended up just using emails - sending myself emails with the link I wanted to save. It's time-consuming though: copy the URL, open my email, compose a new one, paste it in the body, type my email address to be the recipient, click send, then go back to wherever I was, each time. So with @ben_evans2, we created the InboxThis Chrome extension, to send any article/website to your inbox in just 1 click! It works like this: 1. When you're on a page/article you want to save, you click on our extension icon in Chrome. 2. Done - it's now in your email inbox! We would love your feedback. It's a small product but something we wanted for ourselves so we ended up building it. Hopefully it's helpful to others. PS: We don't store or sell your data (the URLs you save or your email - it's stored in your browser / LocalStorage)

This is totally amazing tool! *_* It can absolutely save me of one billion open tabs that are waiting to be checked in fear not to lose them... ^_^ Congratulations on the launch! ^_^ Is extension made just for Chrome or you have/plan it for other browsers too? :))

Very nice! It would be even more awesome if it sent the contents of the page on the email as well, so we could have the information persist even though the source could vanish or change. Would be a great tool for research and more.

It would also be interesting if I can create email threads for similar categories of website Links I save. This would help my inbox be clutter free and search these links later just by the thread.

I've lurked on PH since its launch and never comment, but I have to say that this is fucking PERFECT because my inbox is my BRAIN. It's my to do list, it's where I send my notes, it's my memory I search for everything. I get folks saying to not overcrowd the inbox, but for those of us that are 100% reliant on it, your tool adds a simple, graceful layer that is so desperately needed. I DO NOT NEED another bookmarks feature in my browser, I won't use it. But I damn sure will use my email inbox. Thanks for solving a problem that you had, and obviously I have!
