What do you think? …

Ali Naqi Shaheen
Hey PH folks, I've been building AI applications for many years. Every time I started a new project, the first question was always the same: "What problem should I solve?" One of the tools I relied on heavily was GummySearch. It was great for catching signals from Reddit - pain points, feature requests, "I wish there was..." moments. But it only covered Reddit. For Product Hunt and Hacker News? I was on my own. I'd spend hours manually browsing, copying interesting threads into Notion, trying to spot patterns. It was tedious, time-consuming, and honestly... I kept missing opportunities. So I did what any developer would do - I wrote scripts. Python scrapers, filters, scoring algorithms. They worked, but they were hacky. Every time I wanted to tweak something, I'd have to dive back into the code. Eventually, I thought: "Why not combine all of this into a proper tool?" That's how IdeaMiner was born. It's the culmination of years of workflows, scripts, and learnings - packaged into the product I always wished existed. Multi-platform scanning, AI-powered signal detection, automated scoring, trend tracking, and more. Hope you like it. Let me know what you think.
