I built IDE Battle because if I saw one more 'This new IDE kills Cursor 🤯' thread on X, I was going to lose it. My brain was melting from the hype. I needed cold, hard numbers to tell me to shut up and just write code.
I didn't just want a list; I wanted math. So I built the "Value Index" algorithm a way to calculate which tool actually gives you the most bang for your buck (pricing vs. prompts vs. intelligence).
