Journaling & progress tracking for figure skaters

IceNotes is a digital journaling and reflection platform created specifically for figure skaters. It helps athletes: • reflect after training sessions • track jumps, goals and progress • develop stronger mindset • stay organized and motivated Built by a young figure skater and her mom, IceNotes is designed to be calm, supportive and easy to use – not another stressful tracking tool. A private space where skaters can grow both mentally and technically, one session at a time.

At my 14-year-old daughter’s last competition, she fell during a jump and we ended up in the ER. Thankfully, she’s fine. The diagnosis was a muscle cramp, but the recommendation was two full weeks off the ice... the longest break she’s ever had. For a young athlete, this isn’t just a physical pause. It’s a mental one. Instead of focusing on what she couldn’t do, we chose to use the pause creatively. With the help of Lovable, she built her own Ice Journal a simple digital space for figure skaters to track training, goals, recovery, and reflections. No code. No pressure. Just meaning. The journal wasn’t created as a product strategy, but as a response to a real need staying connected to the sport during recovery. Ice Journal is: completely free, created by a young skater, focused on mindful progress, open to feedback and learning.
