I built v1 in early 2025 – spent 2 months on it (first app with a backend, no AI back then). But Apple's Server Notifications for one-time purchases only worked in Sandbox, not Production. Found out the hard way after release – real purchases weren't triggering any notifications. Was pretty devastated. Then mid-2025, Apple finally enabled Production support. So I polished the app and released it free for every indie dev who experienced the same frustration.
