I'm a cofounder of https://twitter.com/YamaFinance, and Hyperlane's base layer is the best approach to bridging we've found. Sovereign consensus also lets us fine tune the model to our protocol's needs.

I think that we can all agree that cross chain interoperability is a huge problem. What are the key differences in Hyperlane versus a cross chain messaging protocol like Wormhole? Rooting you all on! This is a huge step forward.

This architecture empowers developers to own and customize their security model via Sovereign Consensus, and the ability to permissionlessly deploy Hyperlane onto any blockchain environment. Unlike other protocols, anyone can deploy Hyperlane anywhere! Meaning that you never depend on anyone else if you'd like to add it to a new network.

@jon_kol wow! appreciate your taking the time to explain those more nuanced detailed to me. From the looks of it Hyperlane is highly differentiated in regards to its emphasis around the permissionless deployment model. Haven't seen that approach yet. Super cool!
