Hi ProductHunt. I'm Diana, the creator behind Hum. It was actually the first product I launched on my own back in 2015. I (re-)built Hum to help business owners and job seekers find their circle on Twitter. Being on Twitter and connecting with cool people, interacting with and supporting them, has resulted in maybe 7 of 10 of the most meaningful connections I've had in my career. How it works? It basically searches Twitter for people talking about your interests and compiles the ones with around the same number of followers as you into a daily DM for you to engage with them if you so choose. Kinda a (partially) automated approach to what you're supposed to do anyway. I’d love to hear your feedback and answer any questions you may have. Diana Lopez

Uh, I love this. Twitter has helped me network so much and I've been looking to utilize it more effectively!

Hum is 100x better than Twitter's algorithm for recommending people and tweets to you. Twitter puts viral tweets that your friends favorite in your feed, plus people who already have a huge network and are unlikely to engage with you. I like Hum because it does the opposite, which is far better if you're trying to build a community for yourself on Twitter!

Totally reminds me of hum by colgate! Not sure if you've seen their logo.

@sarrah Maybe thats why this “flopped” 💀 Everyone thought it was toothbrush.

@pixelswithin 1. I don't think it flopped at all. You did a thing. You launched on PH. You got 60 upvotes and traffic to your site. Celebrate that! 2. From my POV, your website doesn't convince me to try it. I *kind of* understand what Hum is, but I have no idea why I would need it/want to pay for it. Or want to try it for free. The page has a lot of features (daily DM, smart filters, pin tweets, etc.) But it's text heavy and it doesn't show or tell me the benefits. My advice: 1. speak to the benefits, not the features. You have business and individual plan pricing. Who is your target audience and how does Hum benefit them? 2. Add more visuals. There are lots of blocks of text and it's hard to scan. Condense some of those sections. Bold the key words. And add more images asides from the one in the About section. I want to see what the tool looks like when I am logged in. A short video would also work. On that note, the images you use in the top banner should match your target market. There's a lot of racial, gender, and age diversity, which is great. I recommend keeping the diversity and choosing imagery more cohesive and tailored to your target audience. If you don't already, follow @GoodMarketingHQ on Twitter and read this post on Harry's site. It'll help you nail it. Good luck with this product!
