How does it look on social? is a side project we built at Pilcro to check how our blogs and website would look on all the social sites, without having to do a post on each one and then delete that post. twitter, facebook, slack and linkedin. Get some helpful tips saying how you can improve your meta-data and images… unless you’re perfect already!

Simple story really - We were trying to scale our marketing for https://www.pilcro.com and found it really frustrating that we couldn't see how a post would look in various places. In terms of tech stack, check out this repo https://github.com/william-woodh... . It it a simple boilerplate that outlines most of the tech we use. We also use serverless.com

haha, thanks @dredurr as a side project we didn't put much thought into the name, as long as the URL was only 99 cents to buy. If you put your domain into the site then click the red button by each post, it will show you some optimisation tips right there

Love the idea! I was recently looking for exactly this when my posts weren't previewing as I wanted. I tried my site and got error of 'Sorry! Could not make request.'. Other sites seemed to work though, but would be nice to get a better clue about what is wrong on my site :)

@mgrady I have sorted this now. It is because we didn't have a user-agent in our request headers to your site and got a 403 response. It should work now. Seems like this might cause an issue when you post your site on Twitter though so that's worth exploring. (thanks to @willam_woodhead for helping me debug)

@jesalg looks like a great product. I agree with you that generic social links are confusing. That's why we put loads of effort into showing what the links look like on all the different social sites
