Love this! wonder how it would be for hiking!

Hey Product Hunters! This summer has been a wicked hot one ️‍🔥️‍🔥️‍🔥 and the recent IPCC 2021 report on climate change confirms that it's only getting hotter. Because it's super hot outside, we designed a new personal cooling backpack called Honu ❄️❄️❄️. The idea is that you put on the Honu pack (like a lightweight running backpack) when you want to be outside in hot weather - walking, running, hiking, biking, working in your garden, etc. The Honu is a designed to look and feel like a lightweight running backpack, but has 60 feet of flexible thermally conductive cooling tubes that circulate ice cold water where your body touches the pack. It keeps you super cool. We focused on keeping the design super simple and easy to use: - it uses a modified hydration bladder to hold ice or a frozen gel pack - a micro electric pump to circulate the water through the tubes - a mini rechargeable battery to power it - thermally conductive tubes embedded into the pack We just got back from the Outdoor Retailer conference in Denver, CO and it was a hit - also the temp hit 97 degrees outside! Our initial price target is $299 for the pack which admittedly is kinda high... but thats only because we are doing small manufacturing runs at this point. This is neat. How often do I need to change the ice on a typical 95 degree day?

I feel like this would be nice just for use in my upstairs office on a hot day. Lol.
