Why did we create Homey Bridge? Because we wanted to bring a proper, powerful, versatile and privacy-aware smart home to a lot more people. We have been building smart home platforms and hubs for well over 7 years now, starting with our Kickstarter for our fist hub in 2014, and later with the release of a 2.0 version and Homey Pro in 2019. Our hubs are used and loved by hundreds of thousands of users in Europe, but for a lot of people, they were out of reach: the hubs cost $299-$399 upfront, without people able to experience the app beforehand. That is why we have rebuilt our Homey platform in the cloud. This allowed us to greatly cut back on hardware costs for the hub itself, which is why we can offer Homey Bridge for $69. What is Homey Bridge? Homey Bridge is the latest smart home hub in the Homey family. It connects to the new Homey online service for smart home control and automation, and allows you to connect devices on Zigbee, Z-Wave (Plus), BLE, Infrared and 433MHz to Homey. 💰 This beautiful, universal hub is available for $69. 🔒 Privacy and security are pillars of Homey and our smart home service. Looks cool! I've been a big fan of your other products. How exactly does the beta work that seems necessary now?

Awesome product idea!

We bought this (in the states) to try to connect with our Leviton smart electric panel and the smart light switches. It works with none of those. Have several other smart items in our home and doesn't work with anything. We want to return this and are being asked to ship back at our expense to the Netherlands. Um, no. This product was not ready for the US market. There are other smart hubs that can do so much more and actually work to automate. Not super sure what this is for if it doesn't connect to anything?
