What do you think? …

Makhankov Anton
Hello, Product Hunt! My name is Anton. Not long ago, I launched my first app on the Apple Store. That was the first wave of excitement, waiting for the review. The second wave is right now, as I'm writing about it here. A bit about myself: I'm 39, working as a project manager in the FMCG sector. Since my student days, I've been doing web development as a hobby, and during the COVID period, I started learning iOS development. I'll be honest: the existence of this app is partly thanks to the advancement of neural networks. Without them, I wouldn't have been able to implement some crucial features on my own. Now, about the app itself. I'm not entirely sure why, but the first thing I wanted to build was a convenient app for working out at home. I've tried many different apps but could never find the perfect balance between functionality and ease of use (UI/UX). I focused on visual clarity and an intuitive interface. In my opinion, the app can be comfortable for both beginners and more advanced athletes. For example, it comes with pre-loaded exercises and workouts, but users can also add as many of their own custom exercises and build workouts from them. For users who need at least some variety in their routines, I've added the ability to randomize values—both the number of exercise repetitions within set ranges and random exercises for selected muscle groups. Honestly, I'm still figuring out what features are absolute "must-haves" for such an app, and I believe it's wrong to add questionable features just to lengthen the feature list. I also added a quick workout generator where you only need to select muscle groups and a difficulty level, which automatically adjusts the number of exercises per round and the number of rounds. And since we're talking about fitness, I implemented integration with Apple Health, heart rate tracking from the Apple Watch, and the ability to control workouts directly from the watch. For users with an Apple TV, the app can be launched directly on it. Workouts sync via iCloud. Unfortunately, for TV workouts, heart rate monitoring and display aren't available yet, but I plan to add this in the future, as I love making the most of the Apple ecosystem. With this project, I want to gain experience in developing and growing my own app by getting feedback from users. So, I would be overjoyed if this app finds a place in your hearts.
