Emojis and GIFs have been an incredibly popular part of messaging around the world, but the recent focus in the US on taking messaging from applications to platforms is going to lead to more opportunities for companies to build a wider range of communication tools. It's going to be a really interesting area to be working in, and Hi-Art has been building a set of tools to create and find GIFs, emojis and stickers, and with the launch of 3.0 they are taking it forward as a social network.

Hi Product Hunt Community! I'm a co-founder of Hi-Art. Thanks for posting @tdavidson. With the thousands of white label and branded emoji keyboards like Kimoji, Justmoji and StephMoji, Hi-Art wants all messaging content to live in one place, so users do not have to go through the cumbersome process of installing more content keyboards, and where influencers, brands, or anyone can create or curate gifs and emoji packs for their fans or friends to easily share. Here’s what’s new: -Social network for gifs and emoji packs -Quickly find or search the internet from a keyboard for trending content -A robust tool set for anyone to create or upload emoji, gifs, memes, or stickers directly to followers' keyboards -View friends’ favorite gifs and emoji (who doesn't want to know and use @rrhoover or @giphy's favorite gifs) Here is a brief background: we created the first US curated emoji app two years ago with Ghostface Killah, Jason Derulo, and many well known artists (example articles: http://pitchfork.com/news/55615-... and http://venturebeat.com/2014/06/1...). A few months later with iOS 8, we launched our iOS keyboard app and saw more stickers sent the day of launch than in the first six months without a keyboard. Maybe Cam'ron and the Fat Jew helped a little too :-). We built our current version to fundamentally change and democratize the keyboard landscape. We are happy to answer questions or please let us know if you have feedback or any thoughts.
