hey everyone!
i built heycustomer because i was tired of annoying, aggressive popups that ruin the user experience. websites should feel like a real store — assistants show up when needed, but they don’t follow you around.
what’s different? heycustomer adds simple, message-style popups your visitors actually like. no full-screen banners, no overlays — just clean notifications that respect your users.
this is my first micro-saas, fully built using ai tools like chatgpt, bolt, and cursor. would love your feedback!

How customizable is the design? Can I tailor the popups to fit my brand’s tone and colors or are they more template-based?

@scytalelabs_marketing right now there’s no design customization yet — keeping it simple for early mvp stage.
but yes, it’s on the roadmap for the next update.
my focus now is validating the core idea and shaping the roadmap based on feedback from early users like you.
appreciate your input

This is fantastic. Do you provide A/B testing options to see which popup variations generate more curiosity or engagement?

@grayson_parker2 Glad you like it, Grayson! A/B testing is actually coming in our next update — should be ready in about 15 days. Stay tuned! 😊

How do you make sure these popups don’t come off as misleading or manipulative?
Are there any ethical design principles or guardrails in place?

@logan_king totally valid concern
we intentionally avoid dark patterns or aggressive wording
heycustomer popups look like message notifications — subtle and familiar, not pushy
goal is to help sites convert without manipulating users
feedback like yours keeps us on that track so thanks
Subtle UX wins here 🪄 Popups feel more like product, less like noise
this is fantastic good job @ardakaan
@ebrar_altunkaynak i glad you like!
