HER'S Next Chapter: Building the collective power of queer womxnWe first launched HER 3 years ago when there were hundreds of apps for straight people and gay men, but nothing that had truly been built for queer womxn. We were a team of three that knuckled down and focused on what we saw in our community; the nuances, the queerness, aaaallll the feels, everything we knew we could reflect in our own app.
The queer dating app Her expands with curated community spacesAfter carving out a niche as the first dating app by and for queer women, Her is broadening its mission. Today, the app formerly known as Dattch is launching a Communities feature - kind of like a set of mini queer subreddits - to let people connect around interests and identity as a group.
