Thank you @riaface for hunting Hashboard! :) I'm so excited to finally introduce Hashboard to the PH community! It also started when I myself started applying for jobs in my final year at university. It was a rather cumbersome process and I didn't enjoy it. Too much of repetitive information to send, copy-pasting a lot of information and url's and then the toughest of all - managing all the applications I sent in or keeping reminders for the ones that were suppose to be sent at a later date. That brought out the idea of Hashboard. A one stop location for all the important tools we might need frequently when we're out on a job hunt. A place to manage your applications, keep track of them, manage cover letters, even create a shareable online CV for free, social websites you're a part of and lots more. I hope you find it as useful as I do.

@riaface @rajat_vaghani sounds very similar to Huntr? Do you see any major differences?

@samrye_enspiral Sorry for the late reply! I had a look at Huntr. Yes the basic idea is the same - tracking job applications. And they've got a to-do list apart from that. Hashboard doesn't have that, however we have multiple other things - like your own online CV, managing cover letters, recommendation letters etc. So I guess yeah, there are quite a few major differences ;)

@rajat_vaghani ah great, the slider was moving too fast for me to read any details or get a sense for what the product actually did. Huntr allows you to store all your documents for each application (but hey, so does Google Docs) as far as I know. Online CV? Is that a CV I upload, turned into a public URL? Or is it a templated builder I enter into into? Or integrated with LinkedIn? Something else? Just trying to get a sense for this, cheers for all your answers!

@samrye_enspiral Haha I'll slow the slider down, thanks for the heads up! - Its not just storing documents, it allows a little bit more than just that. I too would use Google Drive before that :) - It's kind of like a template builder with a few colored themes (working on different templates as well) which, once filled, is available instantly online for the world to see. There's also a view counter and a few premium features I'm working on. Example: http://hashboard.me/cv/kushbavishi And absolutely no problem! More questions means more interest, i guess :D

@rajat_vaghani oh I lie! Huntr doesn't store your files. I must've confused it with the notes area - I guess you could save urls for files in there tho.

I like the idea but the homepage is just too bare... it needs to show a full on demo video of someone using the suite and how it improves their flow.... like REALLY SIMPLY - you do this and get this type stuff.

@samir_doshi Yes I've always wanted to do a video on it, just keep delaying it for the other tasks at hand, but will definitely push it up on the priority list :)
