Here is why I DO NOT recommend @Gura_io (1) Deceptive advertising as they add a service fee charge of $4.95 to EVERY ATTENDEE which is not shown on the course fee, not until you add a course to your cart, (2) You have to sign up to Gura to attend an event, surely we have passed the time of having to sign up to every conferencing tool just to watch another presenter, (3) As soon as you enter your credit card details the card is charged instantly - there is not a confirmation sequence and no workflow allowing you to check the charge, or change your mind. The button which loads your payment method instantly activates the charge. It's the first time I have seen this and it is in effect a scam. (4) The calendar integration with Google crashes every try. Not recommended, I will be terminating my account as soon as I have attended the event for which they took my money.

@walter_adamson Hi there, Walter. Very sorry to read your comment. Let me begin by sharing we have since pivoted our idea from the product you used. Furthermore to point number one, we had clear language sharing the concept behind the service fee. This model allows our experts on the platform to be fully compensated for their time and hard work. Secondly, it is another non-foreign component to ask users to create an account with Gura to attend the session. The main reason behind this is to have information to send the consumer their ticket to the session + allow the consumer to know which past sessions they attended and give them insight on the future sessions they have paid for. Thirdly, this experience you had is not correct to our model. Unsure on what occurred for you. Our platform is built where payment is only activated when the consumer clicks "Submit." Perhaps this is what you decided to do. Lastly, the calendar integration was a bug we were faced with early on. We received a support ticket from another but not you regarding this. When alerted we fixed it right away. Again, we are sorry for the unfortunate experience you had but as you can imagine the moment you tried us out we were in our beta launch. Problems are set to arise. We took the right steps to fixing them all. If you had voiced your concerns through our support feature, we would have been able to fix them all promptly and help out. Stay well.
