Personalize two-way mobile texting for hotel guest's

What has been hotels reaction to this? Do they WANT it? Or are they happy with just having you call downstairs rather than text?

Travel industry analytics clearly indicates that texting is the preferred connection between traveler, hotel guests and meeting attendees and their hosts. For hotels the industry research indicates 80% of travelers prefer text over phone. guestext does not require an App, its users opt-in!
Voted up! Simply because I would think that this more trackable than calling downstairs. I'm not too familiar with the hotel industry, but I wouldn't be surprised if they want to leverage those datapoints. Are you experiencing the same or am I completely off by thinking that this would be the USP for hotels?
