GrowTalk

AI parenting conversations / guidance / reflection

I built GrowTalk as a dad. Not because I wanted another parenting app — but because there were moments I honestly didn’t know what to do. My kid was crying, saying no to everything. I was frustrated, and trying not to lose my patience. In those moments, I didn’t need “expert advice” or perfect solutions. I just needed a way to think things through — calmly, without judgment. That’s what GrowTalk is for. GrowTalk helps you slow down, see the situation, and figure out what might actually help

👋 Hey Product Hunt — I’m the maker of GrowTalk. I built GrowTalk because of those moments no one really prepares you for as a parent. Your kid is crying. They’re saying “no” to everything. You’ve tried being calm, you’ve tried being firm… and nothing works. You’re tired. You feel stuck. And honestly, you feel kind of helpless. In those moments, I didn’t need more parenting tips or another article. I needed somewhere to think out loud — to slow down and figure out what actually makes sense right now for my child. That’s why I built GrowTalk. GrowTalk lets you talk through real parenting moments as they happen. You can explain what just went wrong, how your child reacted, and how you’re feeling. It remembers context, adapts to your child’s age, and helps you think more clearly — without judging you or telling you you’re doing it wrong. It’s not here to replace your instincts. It’s just here for the moments when parenting feels heavy and you don’t know what to try next. This is an early version, built in public, and I’m learning from every bit of feedback. If you’re a parent, I’d genuinely love to hear: What moments make you feel the most overwhelmed When you wish you had someone calm to think things through with What you wish a tool like this could do (or not do) Thanks for taking a look — and thanks for supporting indie makers ❤️
