I’m Ashton, a mechanical engineering student from Purdue who used to track my workouts in Google Docs. I loved training, but I felt the process of logging workouts could be improved and that there's a lot of insights and benefits that you can get from tracking your training.
So two years ago, I decided to build the workout tracker I wished existed.
Grin&Gain is designed to remove all friction from workout tracking.
No typing. No cluttered spreadsheets. No rigid templates.

I’m launching this mostly solo, and this project has been a big part of my life outside school. My goal wasn’t to make “another fitness app”, it was to make tracking feel effortless so you stay focused on training. I hope to build something that can make a real impact on other people and become stronger and more active.
