Hunted not just because it's a nice, simple plugin, but also because of the ethos behind it: "We've partnered with Girl Develop It to support women interested in learning how to code. Test drive Give and in the process support a great cause."

@riaface Thanks so much! We love GDI and all that they do. We're proud to raise funds for them on our demo page and highlight the great work they are doing for gender equality in the tech sphere. https://givewp.com/demo

Special Promotion just for ProductHunters. Use "PRODUCTHUNTERS!15" at the checkout and get 30% off your whole cart for any of our premium Add-ons. We created Give to be the easiest way for nonprofits to collect donations on their WordPress website. There are quite a few ecommerce solutions for WordPress, but none of them handle donations well, and all of them required serious heavy-lifting to get the "products" to act more like donations. We also wanted to make reporting robust and intuitive. There are also a lot of third-party services out there for raising funds, but most of them require a large percentage or additional fees. With Give, the only fees you incur are between you and your payment gateway. That is why we are focusing on offering payment Gateways that are very affordable or have special rates for nonprofits. For example, Braintree doesn't charge anything until you've reacher $50,000 in donations. We think that's perfect for a new non-profit. Give is already seeing great adoption in the WordPress world. Within 7 weeks of launch (and we're still technically in beta) we have over 600 active installs and 2,600 downloads from the WordPress Plugin Directory. Give is a free plugin, you can install it directly through your WordPress admin area. We are monetized through our premium Add-ons. So you can enhance your donation forms with integrations like MailChimp or Constant Contact, add PDF receipts for your donors, and a wide variety of premium payment Gateways. We are currently building out two very important Add-ons: Recurring Donations and Form Field Manager. Recurring is an extremely complex set of code because of the wide variety of payment gateways we want it to support. Form Field Manager will allow users to add additional fields to their donations forms with an easy drag and drop interface.

@learnwithmattc Hi! Absolutely love the Give plugin idea, but am reluctant to try because I wanted to implement a Pay What You Want system exclusively instead of me setting the price, and was wondering if that's possible or available on Give right now or you're thinking of adding it? Thanks in advance! :)

This looks awesome. Does the plugin have the functionality to post the donations to a Wordpress page? Or a total donations?

@mzuvella We're working on several different Add-on ideas that would include that feature. But currently the Free plugin has a feature called "Goals". So you can set a goal amount per form and see how much has been raised relative to that goal. There are also really easy hooks available to customize something like that. Check out https://optimalist.io/ They are fund-raising using Give and they posted their total amount on the homepage. We're currently adding a new "Donor" class which will make it much easier to post donor profiles to the front-end and additional features like what you are looking for. Thanks!

Excited to be on ProductHunt. We love Give and what it brings to the whole WordPress world. We're looking forward to telling some great stories this year of how Give helped raise awareness and funding for great causes all over the world. Thanks for all your votes!
