After months of building, iterating, and curating, I’m thrilled to introduce GemVoyage, a platform designed to help travelers discover hidden gems around the world through community-powered recommendations. 🔹 What is GemVoyage? A web app (more platforms to come in the future) that connects curious travelers with off-the-beaten-path destinations, authentic local experiences, and real stories shared by fellow explorers. Whether it's a remote hiking trail in Peru or a quiet bookstore café in Kyoto – you’ll find it on GemVoyage. 🔹 Why I Built It: I like traveling, but I was getting bored of getting the same tourist traps whenever I google "What to do in " to plan my visit. Using ChatGPT was better, but it's too robotic and often misses the point as well as the human touch. To make matters worse, travel websites don't make it clear when their recommendations are actually sponsered. That's why I built what I needed.
