@corleyh I know you are still looking for a piece of art. Perhaps you could find some inspiration with GalleryTab

@ethanappleby super cool! Yeah - I still need to decide what I want. BTW, I think it is acceptable to come back to customers that have yet to complete the purchase and ask them if they still need help finding something. :-)

Started using this yesterday and fell in love. Every new tab you open shows big, beautiful original paintings (daily inspiration). If you really like the art you can click through and see the artist profile on Vango, or buy the original painting right then and there. 10 out of 10 for bringing more art into my digital (and real) life.

P.S. This would be a nice addition to @chrismessina's #ChromeNewTabs collection.

Great idea-- seems well executed, too. I think it's important to focus on optimizing load speed above all else on this. As a side note- It's interesting that music is primarily listened to and discovered passively, while visual art typically requires attention and engagement and plopping it in a newly opened tab is a great stab at solving this. +1 @ethanappleby and Vango team. Any sort of curation going into which images are available via this tool?

Another note-- I like being able to see the detail of the pieces. Exploring around, my favorites were the ones in which I saw the thread details of the canvas. On a retina monitor it's *almost* as if I'm in a physical gallery ;)

It's a very nice idea (I've been using "Earth View from Google Earth" but the same spots often come by, I'd like to give Vango a shot but I stopped at installation: Why are you guys asking for permission to get the full browser history?
