Funkify is an extension for Chrome that helps you experience the web and interfaces through the eyes of extreme users with different abilities and disabilities.

It is being developed by a team of usability and accessibility experts in Sweden.

I like the idea of this, but some of the language here is a bit odd. For a product like this I’d expect your personas (“Trembling Trevor” for instance) to have “people first” names. “Trevor with a Tremble” will read much better. What’s the meaning behind the name Funkify?

Loved the -Personas- Defaults, previously have used other Chrome extensions for this, but the UI was mostly sliders with propreties. Having some default personas to test makes it much more accessible for a general public I think! Haven't tried the pro features, tho I might pay after a launch to thoroughly test a product. Wouldn't really want to pay for this otherwise.

Good idea. I’ve began taking a deeper look at the W3 Accessibility requirements last year and implementing as much as I can into new projects of mine. The simulator approach, instead of just a bunch of slider/toggles/checkboxes is something Im giving a liking to as well.
