Hello, hunters! Fugo founder & CTO Zuka here 👋 Thanks for dropping in! Since 2016, we’ve been watching the massive uptake of digital signage by businesses in every industry across the globe. Screens now proudly sit in place of printed posters in grocery stores, pharmacies, medical offices, hotels - you name the place, and it just might have a screen lurking somewhere 📺 Yet despite this prevalence, there’s still a really noticeable content gap between, say, your glitzy  Starbucks digital menu board & that of your local coffee shop, whose screens are glitching out or showing stale content that they haven’t updated since the Stone Age 🗿 So last year we built and released Fugo - a digital signage software that lets businesses create, publish, monitor, and manage their screens remotely. Our goal (then as it still is now) was to bridge the digital signage divide between big & small businesses with a tool that made creating & updating on-screen content really simple. However, for some small business owners - like the moms and pops of the restaurant & retail world - we started getting feedback that Fugo still wasn’t simple enough. They didn’t have the budget or need for a full-featured CMS with all its bells & whistles - they just wanted a quick, easy way to get photos & videos up on screen without the friction of a crummy DIY solution (I’m lookin’ at you, USB sticks 👀) We thought - we need to be adapting content management to the technology people are already using. Not the other way around. So, we went & built the Fugo Telegram Bot - the first digital signage content management tool run entirely via a chatbot! If you can send a photo over Telegram, then you can run your digital signage. It’s like exchanging messages & media over chat, except instead of your friends and coworkers - you’re chatting with your screens! Here’s what you can do with it: - Manage up to 3 screens for free - Upload photo & video playlists to each screen - Check the status of your screens - Show your active playlists & screens in the chat Here’s what’s next for the bot: 🎥 Publish Youtube links to screen 🌧️ Display the local weather & time on screen Here’s what you need to run it: - A smart TV or any “dumb” TV paired to a media player like an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Chromebit - A phone or PC to download the Telegram app - Photos & videos you want to publish to screen Even if you don’t have a screen & media player, we’d still love for you to give it a go on your laptop/PC via Chrome Extension (just search "Fugo Digital Signage Player" in the Chrome web store to download.) I dipped my toes in the DOOH space in the past. Updating content was such a unnecessary pain 😫 You guys nailed it!

Just the right tool I've never even dared to ask IT guys. As a slightly impulsive manager who happens to be in a reactive mode all the time I simply didn't had a luxury of time to communicate my constant changes. Plus As I am researching and trying out several approaches to learn customers behavior I might need several changes during a day at different locations at the same time, I can not express how this tool became a lifesaver. Yap, a lifesaver cuz' if you summarize the hours spent on the communication with an IT guys on such minor issues it very well might be a few years of your life. Now with this chatbot it is as simple as sending a message. This is how you use the bot technology for the right things. Sincerely, thank you 🙏
